Our family-operated quarry, situated in Utah's West Desert, provides access to the Wheeler Shale, an impressively rich Middle Cambrian fossil formation. This site yields a substantial number of common trilobites, including Elrathia kingii and Asaphiscus wheeleri, alongside many rarer trilobite species and other marine organisms that flourished in the oceans around 500 million years ago. The discovery of new Cambrian species within the Wheeler Formation continues to this day.
